Cinemagraph Reflection

What was your overall concept and did you succeed in crafting the cinemagraph the way you intended? My concept for the cinemagraph was to have it look as if the soda was being poured into the glass and it mostly worked except for that i wanted it poured at more of an angle instead of from directly above it. What would you have done differently when creating your cinemagraph? I would have included the cup that I poured the soda from, so that it could be shown leaving the glass and entering the new one. What would have made this project easier to understand or create? Having a list of ideas for what to do for the project, since it did take me awhile to figure out what would work for the style of the cinemagraph and what wouldn't look good.

Bring Action To Life

Image
What is your favorite part of this image? That I was able to capture the ball at the right times to capture a variety of different positions it was in. What was the most difficult part of this process?     Focusing my camera long enough to capture the ball in the various places during its movement. What was the easiest part of this process?     Being able to use photoshop to edit the photos together.

Frozen Motion Photos

Image
Frozen Motion Photography Which is your best image and why? Which is your lease successful image and why? What would be your ideal action photography subject and why? My best image is the second one I took of the tennis ball hitting the water because I was able to catch it at the moment that the splash was biggest and keep the image clear despite the motion. My least successful image was the first image of the tennis ball hitting the water because the angle I took it at only allowed me to capture a little bit of it. My ideal subject would be an ocean wave or animal in motion, so that I could capture pictures of it moving that you may not be able to see with your eyes.

Artificial Blur Photos

My image doesn't look real because the focus of the image doesn't have a focus on the whole train and parts of the train have blur. My image does look real because I was able to focus on the whole car while still having motion blur behind it.

Clark Little Shore Break

Documentary Response He worked at a botanical garden in Hawaii. I love how he actually started shooting shore break when no one else was doing it. He set himself apart from everyone else and it shows in his photos because there are very few photographers who can capture something like this. I don't like that there are a lot of his photos that look exactly the same in all of them. He uses a nikon D4S and has a waterproof housing(like a case) for it. I would consider this as a career because it seems like a very fun job to do and you get to go take photos and go in the ocean everyday for your job.

Action Photos

One thing I did good was being able to catch the details of the squirrel, so that it wasn't just a blurry and image. One thing I could’ve done better was to zoom in more on the squirrel and have less background in it. One thing I did good on the photo was catch the water droplet at the exact time it was leaving the faucet to catch it falling. One thing I could've done better was have the camera focused on the water droplet and have less blur on it. One thing I did good on the photo was cropping it to make sure all of the things in the background weren't crowding the image. One thing I could've done better would be to capture him walking at a better angle than I took the photo at. One thing I did good was capturing a clear image of the helicopter flying, so that it wasn't just a small dot in the picture. I could've edited the photo better, so that it was brighter and could be seen better when looking at it. One thing I did good was getting the car at a time that ...
